Accessibility
Accessibility statement.
Aviate Agency wants everyone to be able to use aviate.agency, including people who use screen readers, keyboards, magnification or other assistive technology.
Our goal
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. This is a goal we work toward, not a certification.
What we’ve done
- Semantic headings, landmarks and a “Skip to content” link on every page.
- Text and interface colors checked against WCAG AA contrast ratios.
- Everything works with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline.
- Form fields have labels, required fields are marked, and errors are described in text and announced to screen readers.
- The chat assistant is a labelled dialog: it keeps focus inside while open, closes with Escape, and announces new messages.
- Images have text alternatives; decorative images are hidden from assistive technology.
- Pages reflow on small screens and at 400% zoom, and respect your “reduce motion” setting.
- We test with automated tools (axe-core, pa11y, Lighthouse) and manual keyboard checks.
Known limitations
Client logos are shown as images of text and are named in their alternative text. Some quoted press coverage links to third-party sites we don’t control.
